FarmSight consultant George Whelan studied at Hadlow college and completed a Biodiversity Management Degree at The University of Kent. From there he went on to work for a software development agency specialising in software and website development projects. Now his day to day focus at Burden Bros is consulting with our customers to identify areas of saving and improvements using technology and our in house precision farming expertise.
FarmSight Consultant Kris Romney has agriculture in his blood having grown up on a farm. He achieved an engineering degree from Coventry University before starting his career working on a large arable farm. He has been a vital part of the Burden Bros Agri team for nearly a decade initially leading the company’s precision agriculture team and assisting to embed the concept into the group.
FarmSight Optimisation Specialist, Tim Sillence started working on a farm at 15 and went on to complete a Level 3 Diploma and graduated with a full distinction in Agriculture from Hadlow College. Whilst studying and after college Tim spent 2.5 years on a vegetable and arable farm drilling, cultivating and crop care. Tim carries out optimisation and demonstrations of hardware to our customers to ensure machinery is running efficiently and to its full potential.
